Now, when you combine Seadragon with Photosynth strange and beautiful things happen. Photosynth culls images with similar data from all over the web maps their similarities and differences (angles, depth etc.) tags them with meta data and then creates multi-dimensional spaces in realtime. This amazing demo aside, from a social standpoint, there is an opportunity here to learn from each other's visual experiences on a grand, even global scale as images from users all over the planet get compounded metadata attached to them and allow us the opportunity to explore, in unprecedented clarity, world around us.
