…but it is really worth digging through the site itself (when you have a couple of spare days) and exploring it's vast library of historical and contemporary audio and video files, highlighting the works of both well and lesser known artists, independent film makers and poets from all over the globe.

One project that could easily distract me from my daily grind is the 365 Days Project which is currently in progress for the second time (first year was 2003). Basically, everyday for an entire year, members of a group of about 150 or so contributors submit audio files and snippets, from radio or tv broadcasts or perhaps old obscure recordings. The intro states "365 days of cool and strange and often obscure audio selections." So far they're not lying. I am hooke and I am only a couple snippets into "Michael Mills - Hidden and Satanic Messages In Rock Music" from a 1981 radio show and submitted to the project January 1, 2007. Good stuff!
