We all played with them when we were kids. Hey, maybe some of us had kids just so we could play with them again. Those awesome little colored bricks (from Lego® or elsewhere) that we spent hours snapping together and finally breaking apart only to search through the rubble to find all the right pieces for the next project.

Nathan Sawaya is one of a few amazing artists who have taken the concept of the little building blocks to a whole new level.

Somebody in the office shot me a link to this, but I remember hearing on the radio a while ago, i think it was on NPR believe it or not, that there had been a brick art contest and a subsequent winner who's grand prize was a job as Master Model Builder at Legoland California®. This is the guy.
